Raleigh, NC – Imaginovation, a Raleigh-based web and mobile app development firm, was recently recognized as a finalist in the 9th Annual Shorty Awards.  The company developed the Outperform Fitness app in 2016 and it’s no stranger to awards. The app was previously recognized as the Best Sports Mobile Application by the Web Marketing Association in 2016.

The Outperform Fitness (OPF) app turns your phone into the ultimate functional fitness tool. OPF is essential for anyone that enjoys functional fitness or is looking for a new way to workout, regardless of the programming methodology you currently follow. The app is designed to help maximize your fitness potential by saving you time and taking the guess work out of training.

“We are so proud of the team that worked on this mobile app,” said Michael Georgiou, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-founder of Imaginovation.  “Being named a finalist in the Shorty Awards is a huge honor. We are working on quite a few mobile applications at the moment that are equally impressive and we can’t wait to share them with the world!”

Finalists were selected by the Real Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences, whose members include leaders across the advertising, media, entertainment and technology industries. The group includes CMO of GE, Linda Boff, Apple Co-founder Steve “Woz” Wozniak, CMO of Patrón Spirits International AG Lee Applbaum, Instagram Co-Founder Mike Krieger, author, activist and TV host, Janet Mock, and more.

Winners and honorees will be announced leading up to and during the ceremony on Sunday, April 23rd in New York City.
